Cox Master Mariner 22 Yacht / Sailboat
The Cox Master Mariner 22 is ‘… a true motor-sailer with pleasing lines, reasonable sailing performance and good accommodation’ according to Yachting Monthly A-Z of Second Hand Boats.
The boat was built by Builder Cox Marine Ltd and has four berths, heads, combined wheelhouse and saloon, galley, inboard diesel engine.

I own a Cox Master Mariner and was fortunate when I brought her in 2004 to have been given all the paperwork since she was built. It includes the original specification for the basic boat plus the additional extra's that Cox Mariner of Brightlingsea could supply. Her Name is Per Mare which I have kept as the last owner was an ex Royal Marine. She is presently out of the water. I have rebuilt the Yanmar engine and gearbox. The hardest job was not the work involved but to obtain a bronze bush to refurbish the stern bearing. I went in the end to a specialist firm in Leeds that I found on the internet, who were first class. I am a memeber of the Sandwich Sailing and Motorboat Club which is a very friendly club to belong to. We are also fortunate that we own all our own land and moorings. I hope to have the refit finished by the end of April. My boat is extremely well built and I am looking forward to the coming season.
