Dinghy, Boat and Yachting Clubs

Welcome to the sailing club and owners associations section of Go Sail. Here you will find lists of clubs and owners clubs in the UK, USA and throughout the world. If your club is not listed then why not add it here.

Joining a sailing club or boat owners association is a great way to get the most out of your boat. Many clubs have mooring facilities, learning to sail schemes and you can meet like minded people for advice, help and of course friendhip. Many clubs also run racing events throughout the year and organise sailing trips and flotillas.

Please note that we only accept sailing clubs and owners associations in this section not commerical sailing schools. If you wish to add your school please add it to our marine suppliers section.

Haven Ports Yacht Club - Featured Club
Dinghy Racing An active, friendly and welcoming sailing and motor cruising yacht club based at Suffolk Yacht Harbour at Levington on the River Orwell.

The racing programme extends from early Spring to New Year’s Day and offers events ranging from the gentle and gentlemanly to the downright competitive, with several club boats each year flying the flag (and generally doing well) at Cowes or Cork or further afield.

We have a Squib (keelboat) fleet that keeps going through thick and thin, and generally has more races in its calendar than there are weeks in the year, and a very active and professionally-run youth section which does everything from sheltered-water dinghy tuition for the very young to real racing, via all the supporting skills-training like first aid, RYA instructorship, liferaft drill, safety boat driving and so on, not to mention a fair bit of offshore crewing in each other’s family cruisers and (of course) the occasional party.
