Introduction To The Beneteau Oceanis 321
Designed by Groupe Finot and built by Beneteau, the Oceanis 321 was made for cruising speed and comfort. Her stable, fast
performance, combined with a surprisingly spacious interior and optional 2 cabin layout, make her the ideal yacht for a luxurious
and relaxed family sailing holiday or blue water cruise.
The low centre of gravity of the Oceanis 321 makes for efficient and stable sailing. She is solidly built, well-balanced
and very safe, even in heavy weather conditions. She makes an ideal cruiser and offers pleasant short or light handed
sailing thanks to her furling main, 140% genoa, lazy jacks and self-tailing winches. However she is also a surprisingly
fast boat, as demonstrated by the fact that an Oceanis 321 was recently declared the overall winner of the 2005 Rosen-Regatta.
The Oceanis 321 is available with one aft cabin or with two. Whilst the latter is well suited for sailing with crew, the
double stateroom layout is ideal for those wanting equitable accommodation on a sailing holiday for two couples. The two-cabin
layout nonetheless offers spacious crew accommodation and the broad beam of the Oceanis 321 makes for a roomy cockpit. The L
shaped kitchen is well-equipped and the sociable layout, with a good sized table and seating areas adjacent to the kitchen,
makes for sociable cooking and dining.
Whether you are looking for a fast cruiser for blue water sailing or a luxury family yacht, the Oceanis 323 makes an
excellent choice. Her stable handling, high quality build and luxurious accommodation are sure to prove popular with family and crew members alike.
