The Jamestown Yacht Club (JYC) is a family-oriented yacht club centered around the Conanicut Marina. Our PHRF racing program is one of the best on Narragansett Bay. There are both Spinnaker and Non-spinnaker classes. The crew rotation is held annually. We have numerous social events including dark and stormy night, winter dinner, annual awards dinner and pop up boat meet ups. We also host many educational events for our members to learn more about boating, boat maintenance, and long distance cruising.

Newport, Rhode Island, known as "the City by the Sea" is home to the Newport Yacht Club (NYC). We are located in the Northeast corner of the harbor where our members, their families and guests enjoy one of the finest yachting facilities that New England has to offer. The onshore races include One Design and Cruising Classes. They are administered by the Regatta Committee, and have weekly series races on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for primarily One Design and Cruising respectively.

Rhode Island Yacht Club is the oldest yacht club on Narragansett Bay with a long history of yachting since the Club's founding in 1875. We occupy a contemporary facility with breakwater-protected docks and a mooring field on Stillhouse Cove in Cranston, RI, conveniently close to downtown Providence.
The Conanicut Yacht Club is host to J/22 Fleet 12. Racing is held on Sunday afternoons during July and August, and is open to all J/22 sailors, including CYC non-members. Fleet 12 racing is known for being family-friendly, and highly Corinthian, but serious enough to be sailed with spinnakers.
We are a full service club with waterfront and racquet sports facilities and a clubhouse with dining service and social activities. Our sailing programs are strong and we are proud of our members who are involved in cruising adventures and major racing events including the America''s Cup.

VANGUARD 420: Ideal for crews ranging in size from 220-310 lbs., the 420 is manageable for sailors coming out of the Optimist class and enables young sailors to learn teamwork skills that simply cant be learned in single-handed boats. Charleston Community Sailing Inc. has a fleet of 13 competitive 420s for use in the summer program.
