Hertford County Yacht Club is a popular, friendly club offering something for every member of the family from the casual sailor to the serious racing enthusiast, with the emphasis always on enjoyment. We have good facilities for non-sailing members of the family, spacious grassed areas with picnic tables, swings and a fenced-off adventure play area. Sailing is on an attractive 25 acre lake in the village of Stanstead Abbotts, near Ware in Hertfordshire, just North of the A414 bypass.

Rickmansworth Sailing Club is a friendly sailing club catering for both family and individual sailing in a pleasant environment, currently supporting some 300 members including their families. We are one of the few clubs with a 12 month sailing calendar for those who wish to race or cruise. Sailing should be fun and for all ages, so RSC has a mixed sailing scheme of regular race series, sail training for members and a Junior sailing group known as the Trojans The sailing calendar includes a mix of traditional racing series on Sundays throughout the year and Wednesday evenings in summer. For those less keen on the main race programme there are open events throughout the year and fun days to meet the needs of all members. Furthermore the Club is available for its members to sail 365 days a year

Based at Stanborough Watersports Centre in Welwyn Garden City – just off the A1M. We race on most Saturday mornings throughout the entire year. The first race starts at 10.00, and we finish at around 13.00. If you want to join the racing we suggest you arrive around 09.00 to allow time to get rigged and sign on before the briefing at 09.50. (For those who just want to watch the racing or chat, there is a coffee break at 11.00 which is a good time to catch everyone).
