Mississippi Sailing Clubs
We have one of the best youth sailing programs on the Coast; we maintain a fleet of club-owned boats in various classes to appeal to sailors of all ages and levels of experience. BWYC is organized as a private club for members and their guests. BWYC members may enjoy reciprocal membership privileges at most other GYA-member yacht clubs and many yacht clubs throughout the United States.
Jackson Yacht Club is one of the most prestigious family-oriented, multi-activity yacht clubs in Mississippi. We offer numerous opportunities to socialize including Fleet 29 Social Club,
Ladies Fleet and Bridge.
The club is discreetly located in Ridgeland, Mississippi, adjacent to the Spillway on the Ross Barnett Reservoir.
JYC boasts lush landscaped grounds, a modern 22,000 square foot clubhouse, a six lane Olympic sized swimming pool, fine dining and a challenging sailing experience along the Ross Barnett Reservoir.
The Ocean Springs Yacht Club has been an active part of the Gulf Coast community since it was founded in 1969. We are located on Front Beach, at the base of the Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge. OSYC is a social and boating (both power and sailing) club, an informal yacht club, with many activities for members of all ages.
The new clubhouse is open six days a week with banquet facilities, bar service, expansive views and plenty of friendly faces. The club also hosts regular events such as cookouts, regattas and parties. We offer adult and children sailing lessons as well. Club amenities include a large family pool and baby pool, club-owned sailboats available to the membership, and a private pier.
The clubhouse is today located in the picturesque harbor at the foot of Pass Christian’s Market Street, providing services and other amenities for more than 700 members.
PCYC members of good standing are welcome to use club owned boats at no charge. The boats available are Flying Scots, Sunfish, 420 and Optimist.
