Missouri Sailing Clubs
The Jacomo Sailing Club is the oldest public sailing club in the Kansas City area. It was founded in 1958 and has a rich history of running top notch one design races on Lake Jacomo. Contact the Jacomo Sailing Club today. We can provide a starting point for your introduction into sailing, racing and fun on the water. The club welcomes all new interested beginner sailors, even if you have never sailed. There are fleet activities forming every year for novice and junior sailors. The Jacomo Sailing Club is a member of both the Central States Sailing Association (CSSA) and US Sailing. Fleets sailed include C Scow, Portsmouth, Sweet 16 and Windmill.
Established in 1971, the Lake Saint Louis Sailing Club was organized by individuals interested in sailing, promoting the art and providing a training environment for beginning sailors. In November of 2009, the club by-laws were amended to add paddling sports to the club”s activies. These include kayaking, rowing, and canoeing. The Lake Saint Louis Sailing & Paddling Club is a family oriented organization with sailing crews consisting of all combinations of spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings.you name it.
The club caters to both power and sail boaters, offering eighty covered and open dock slips ranging from 30 x 12 ft to 60 x 20 ft, including some private patios, all conveniently accessible with our courtesy golf carts over extra spacious paths all the way between your automobile and boat.
Westport Yacht Club is a family owned and operated business that has belonged to the Siverly family since 1992. Formerly Page Marina, it has served the Lake from this location for over 40 years. We take pride in our personal, friendly atmosphere and ability to offer amenities found only at the largest of marinas.
Westport Yacht Club is located on the West side of the Lake of the Ozarks on the Gravois Arm. We are situated in a beautiful deep water cove on the five mile marker, surrounded by hills on all sides.
