The Lord Reading Yacht Club has one of the most protected and largest harbours on Lake St. Louis. Launching and hauling for boats up to 45 feet in length, shipwright and mechanic services, canvas repair and yacht interior design. Large slips with lots of maneuvering room, single and double power outlets, fresh water are just some of the amenities available to power boaters. The harbour is located on the North shore of Lake St. Louis adjacent to the Pointe-Claire city wharf. It is protected from the South by a rock breakwater, with floating breakwaters protecting the east and west entrances. Capacity: Within the harbour are 5 docks connected by a main dock and a visitor’s dock.
While the Royal St. Lawrence is, and has always been, a sailing club, we also have a large fleet of power boats in the club. The sailing and power boats range from dinghies to 50+ foot yachts. The club has purchased 5 twenty-four foot Shark keelboats for instruction as well as use by the members who do not own a boat. All that is required is to show proof of competency and the members can sail them at their leisure. Sailboat racing is a long-standing tradition at the Royal St-Lawrence Yacht club. Our fleets include keelboats and dinghies.
