Anacortes Yacht Club was founded in 1891 and is the second oldest yacht club in Washington State. Run entirely by volunteers, it is rich in maritime and civic activities.
The Anacortes Yacht Club racing program consists the following types of events: 1 - Club Buoy Racing 2 - Club Distance Racing 3 - Club Regattas 4 - Lido 14/ One Design Racing There is also an active group that races radio control model boats (ARCS website).

Flounder Bay Yacht Club (FBYC) is located on the west side of Fidalgo Island, north of Deception Pass and three miles west of downtown Anacortes, Washington. Flounder Bay Yacht Club is an auxiliary of the Skyline Marine Owners Association Condo-18. The FBYC membership consists of owners in Condo -18. It is open to renters of those slips and a limited number of ''absentee'' members.

We are located on 17 acres, fronting the beautiful Cedrona bay, on Fox Island. The club has many amenities such as a 4,400 square foot clubhouse, a field kitchen with a professional gas barbecue, approximately 150 feet of floating dock.

The Pentagon Sailing Club is a volunteer association dedicated to safe recreational sailing on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, the Chesapeake Bay, and wherever the winds may take us. We base our operations out of Capitol Cove Marina on Bolling Air Force Base, and maintain a fleet of club-owned sailboats.
